Entails communicating with Office and UM staff as well as Payors and patients. The Referral Coordinator ensures an efficient referral process which provides a seamless consistent process of referral for the patient across all providers/specialties.

Required Experience
- Formal training will be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
- Previous experience with ICD-9 & CPT coding systems; medical terminology.
- Ability to maintain composure & balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of frequently ordered diagnostic tests preferred.
- Spanish/Chinese bilingual preferred.
