Apply Now Hospital Name PIH Health Physicians (PHP) Job Type Full-Time/Regular Job ID 19396-977 Date posted 05/02/2023The RN Clinical Educator Float Nurse for PIH Health Physician’s (PHP) is responsible for educating clinical staff including practitioners according to professional standards, regulations, and best practice using a variety of teaching methods in an ambulatory care setting. Coordinate and maintain our student and preceptorship program. Collaborate with PHP leadership and clinical staff to improve quality of care and regulatory compliance. Operates as a change agent in the clinical practice and classroom setting. While as a float nurse, provides direct and indirect patient care, provide medical advice and triage for multiple ambulatory care clinics. Perform non-invasive diagnostic testing in our primary and specialty care clinics. Assess, plan, implement and evaluates the care rendered to patients with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems.

Required Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in direct nursing care in the Ambulatory Care Setting
- Current and unrestricted RN California state licensure
- Current BLS & ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association
- 12 Lead electrocardiogram and arrhythmia detection knowledge
Preferred:
- M.S.N. Degree preferred
- Experience in education and/or demonstrated relevant education and clinical expertise in providing education to adult learners (preferred)
