Required Skills
- Ability to organize and manage technically skilled personnel needed to maintain and operate the Hospital Facilities.
- Ability to maintain the Facility within approved budgets.
- Thorough working knowledge of all equipment so as to not only maintain but to prevent unnecessary failure and down time.
- Ability to interface effectively with all other hospital personnel when solving a Maintenance or Engineering problem.
Required Experience
- High School, GED, or trade school graduate (preferably courses in arithmetic, mathematics, and electricity)
- Five (5) years’ experience in Maintenance and/or Engineering with at least five (5) years in healthcare setting.
- Demonstrate competence in electrical mechanical and fire life safety equipment
- Valid California Driver’s License
Preferred:
- Hospital experience
