Mammography Technologist Lead

A Mammography technologist is responsible for conducting high-quality breast imaging procedures as requested by a licensed independent practitioner. They adhere to the guidelines set by MQSA and ACR and ensure accurate positioning and utilization of proper positioning protocols. Operating within an acute care hospital environment, Mammography technologists play a vital role in delivering healthcare services while maintaining a patient-centric approach. They are expected to demonstrate independent professional judgment and uphold ethical standards throughout their practice.

Required Experience

Required:

• ARRT (M)
• CRT (R) and (M)
• Must maintain BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Previous mammography experience

Preferred:

• ARRT (M)
• Certificate from a Mammography program
• Previous mammography experience 2-5 years
• Spanish speaking
