RN Registered Nurse ED Emergency Department, Case Manager , Full Time, Nights

PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital - Los Angeles, California

Overview

PIH Health has a tailored approach to support the individual New Grad Registered Nurse. The first year plays a critical role in the development of the New Grad RN. THE PIH Health Nurse Residency program was created to provide ongoing clinical and personal support to first year nurses in practice. The program gives new graduates a forum to share thoughts, feelings, concerns and clinical experiences. Through the process of sharing, new graduates are empowered with the understanding that the challenges experienced during transition from school to practice are “normal”. New grads are supported in developing their clinical knowledge through the integration of NovEx in the Residency Program. NovEx is a web based educational program that allows new grads to focus on early recognition, thinking, reasoning, & judgment. Ongoing clinical education is provided by discussions of common disease processes and pathophysiology, legal aspects of care, and end of life issues in combination with case study evaluations and simulations as a learning tool.
