PIH Health Medication Management and Family Medicine Department is seeking a Full-Time Board Certified NP/PA to join our team. Responsibilities include split schedule in our medication management clinic in Whittier as well as Family Medicine outpatient clinic in Montebello. Shifts are 8 hours/day, 5 days per week.

- Demonstrated expertise in Family Medicine diagnoses: assessment, intervention, and patient care management. Knowledgeable regarding a Family NP/PA scope of practice.
- Possess knowledge of medication related policies/protocols, clinical trials.
- Provide comprehensive instructions and teaching on disease processes.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities.
- Independent performer.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish/Chinese preferred.
Must have experience providing care for patients requiring anticoagulation therapy using Coumadin, and administering Coumadin according to current evidence-based standards of practice as well as managing chronic conditions such as glucose and hypertension management. Experience in patient education is preferred. 3-5 years’ experience of independent practice as a NP/PA is required. Certification is required.
