The Communication Resources Clerk reports directly to the Communication Resources Manager.He/she performs all duties and responsibilities associated with answering and extending calls to the various departments of the Enterprise as well as to patients and physicians; initiates responses to all hospital codes and alarms; performs overhead pages; Initiates On-Call Scheduling calls providing documentation on all calls, for EA program. Provides Exchange services for 5 PIH Physician offices.Will also provide limited Audiovisual/Conference Center, Translation devices and Vocera support.

Considerable knowledge about the hospital, the medical staff, the integrated delivery system, the Community and the sources of information relevant to this data

Spanish/Chinese bilingual preferred

Talking or hearing essential to communicate with patients and staff.

Good communication skills; read, speaks, and writes English fluently.

Bilingual skills preferred.
