Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner functions in an Advanced Practice role as a clinical expert in the clinical ambulatory setting.Practicing within developed Standardized Procedures the nurse practitioner plans, implements and evaluates the plan of care and seeks to improve care through collaborative/collegial practice among caregivers/providers/disciplines.

Required Skills

3.Knowledgeable regarding all aspects of Nurse Practitioner scope of practice.

COMMUNICATION:

1. Talking or hearing essential to communicate with patients and staff.
2. Good communication skills; read, speaks and writes English fluently.
3. Bilingual skills in Spanish/Chinese preferred.

Required Experience

1. Current California Nurse Practitioner license
2. Graduate from an accredited Acute Care or Family NP Master’s Program
3. 3-5 years of experience required.
4. Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirements
5. Board Certification: Board certified
