This role includes assessment, planning, and management of patients with skin-related issues, including wounds, ostomies, and continence concerns. The WOCN is responsible for overseeing the wound care program, ensuring adherence to clinical best practices, regulatory standards, and quality improvement initiatives. Serving as a subject matter expert, the WOCN works in collaboration with nursing staff-providing guidance, support, and education to enhance clinical practice within the specialty.

Required Experience
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse (WOCN) Certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment
Preferred:
- 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a medical surgical setting
- MSN degree
