The Team Lead Biller demonstrates knowledge of insurance billing rules, regulations and contracts. Is able to utilize multiple hospital and professional billing systems. Monitors electronic and hardcopy claim submission, ability to update incorrect payer mnemonic and financial classes as needed. Obtains missing documentation/invoices and communicates with clinical departments as well as hospital departments regarding charges and/or missing documentation. Responsible for training staff, monitors productivity, internal and external billing delays.

Required Experience
Required:
- High School Graduate.
- Minimum 3- years billing experience with either provider group or facility setting.
- Business office setting including CPT, HCPC, ICD10 codes.
- Knowledge of Gov’t Regulations for Medi-Care/Medi-Cal crossover billing.
