Required Experience

Required:

• The Certified Coder must pass a coding certification exam sponsored by one of two nationally recognized organizations (American Academy of Professional Coders or American Health Information Management Association).
• The Certified Coder must have at least two years coding experience and maintain yearly renewal and CEU requirements.
• Must possess knowledge and expertise in coding services, procedures and diagnoses for physician practices.
• Must have knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9 coding and medical terminology.
• Must abide by all company confidentiality requirements.
