*The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in performing excisional procedures, shave and punch biopsies, and managing a wide range of dermatologic conditions including acne (with isotretinoin), eczema, and psoriasis. Experience with biologic medications is highly valued. While candidates with aesthetic dermatology experience are welcome to apply, it is important to note that this position does not include cosmetic or aesthetics services, and applicants must be comfortable and aligned with this scope of practice.*

Required Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in dermatology: Knowledgeable of Dermatology PA scope of practice
• Able to perform duties as first assist in surgery.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosis and treatment of skin disorders, cosmetic laser procedures and as a dermatological surgical first assist.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilities.
• Independent performer.

Required Experience

• Current California Physician Assistant license
• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant School
• Three years direct patient care clinical dermatology experience.
• Evidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirement
• Board Certification: Board certified by the National Certification Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
